How to Use This Calculator
- Enter the rated CFM per tool from the manufacturer specification sheet.
- Set the duty cycle percentage (how much of the time each tool is actively running).
- Enter the total number of pneumatic tools connected to the system.
- Set the diversity factor -- the fraction of tools running simultaneously (typically 0.75 for mixed shops).
