How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter your total logged dive count and total bottom time in hours from your dive log.
  2. Input your average dive depth and deepest logged depth in meters.
  3. Enter the average tank pressure consumed per dive in bar (start minus end pressure).
  4. Select your typical tank volume in litres (AL80 = 11.1 L is the most common).
  5. Read Estimated SAC Rate (L/min) — excellent is below 12 L/min; above 20 L/min suggests room to improve breathing technique.
  6. Check Experience Level and whether your max depth exceeds what is typical for your certification level.
