How to Use This Calculator
- Knit or crochet a swatch at least 6x6 inches using your intended yarn, hook/needle, and stitch pattern.
- Measure 4 inches across the center of the swatch and count the stitches.
- Measure 4 inches vertically and count the rows.

- Compare your gauge to the pattern gauge and adjust needle/hook size if needed — go up a size if your swatch is too small, down if too large.
