Coagulation Panel Calculator

Interpret coagulation panel results (PT, INR, PTT, fibrinogen, platelets) to assess bleeding risk and clotting status.

Inputs

Results

Bleeding Risk

1 (1=Low, 2=Moderate, 3=High)

Abnormal Values

0 parameters

PT Status1 (1=Normal, 2=Elevated)
INR Status2 (1=Low, 2=Normal, 3=Therapeutic, 4=High)
PTT Status1 (1=Normal, 2=Elevated)
How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter PT (prothrombin time in seconds) and the laboratory's normal mean PT to calculate INR.
  2. Input aPTT (activated partial thromboplastin time in seconds) and the laboratory reference range.
  3. Enter fibrinogen level (mg/dL) if available.
  4. Review INR, aPTT ratio, and fibrinogen interpretation for bleeding or clotting risk.
  5. Monitor trends over serial draws for patients on anticoagulation therapy.
