Likely Diagnosis

1 (1=Normal, 2=Hypo, 3=Hyper, 4=Subclinical Hypo, 5=Subclinical Hyper)

TSH Status2 (1=Low, 2=Normal, 3=High)
Free T4 Status2 (1=Low, 2=Normal, 3=High)
Free T3 Status2 (1=Low, 2=Normal, 3=High)
How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter TSH (mIU/L), Free T4 (ng/dL), and Free T3 (pg/mL) from the lab report.
  2. Review the interpretation: low TSH + high Free T4 = hyperthyroid; high TSH + low Free T4 = hypothyroid.
  3. Check for subclinical patterns: isolated TSH abnormality with normal free hormones.
  4. Consider Total T3 and T4 if binding protein abnormalities are suspected.
  5. Correlate with clinical symptoms and prior thyroid function tests for trend analysis.
