How to Use This Calculator

Enter the mangrove stand area in hectares.
Input the average tree density (stems per hectare) and mean diameter at breast height (DBH) in cm.
Set the forest zone (fringe, basin, riverine) to apply the correct allometric equation.
Review the estimated aboveground biomass (Mg/ha), belowground biomass, and total carbon stock (Mg C).
Use the carbon stock to calculate Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) for blue carbon credit projects.
