How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter the heaviest load weight (lb) you need to lift in the Max load weight field.
  2. Set the load center (in) — the distance from the fork face to the load's center of gravity (standard is 24 in).
  3. Enter the maximum lift height (ft) required for your highest rack or storage level.
  4. Input your aisle width (ft) to determine the appropriate truck type (counterbalance, 3-wheel, or reach).
  5. Read the Recommended capacity (lb) to select the correct standard forklift class, and check Mast stages for the right mast configuration.
