How to Use This Calculator
  1. Select the 3D shape from the dropdown — cube, sphere, cylinder, cone, pyramid, rectangular prism, ellipsoid, torus, or capsule.
  2. Enter the required dimensions for your shape (e.g., radius and height for a cylinder).
  3. Volume and Surface Area are computed using standard 3D geometry formulas.
  4. For a sphere: V = (4/3)πr³, SA = 4πr²; for a cylinder: V = πr²h, SA = 2πr² + 2πrh.
  5. The surface area breakdown chart shows how much each face or component contributes to total surface area.
  6. All dimensions must be positive; the torus requires the tube radius to be smaller than the major radius.
