3D Shape Master Calculator
Complete 3D geometry calculator for all common shapes — cubes, boxes, spheres, cylinders, cones, pyramids, prisms, ellipsoids, torus, and capsules. Calculate volume, surface area, and more.
Step 1 of 9
How to Use This Calculator
- Select the 3D shape from the dropdown — cube, sphere, cylinder, cone, pyramid, rectangular prism, ellipsoid, torus, or capsule.
- Enter the required dimensions for your shape (e.g., radius and height for a cylinder).
- Volume and Surface Area are computed using standard 3D geometry formulas.
- For a sphere: V = (4/3)πr³, SA = 4πr²; for a cylinder: V = πr²h, SA = 2πr² + 2πrh.
- The surface area breakdown chart shows how much each face or component contributes to total surface area.
- All dimensions must be positive; the torus requires the tube radius to be smaller than the major radius.
How the result changes with Side Length
| Side Length | Volume |
|---|---|
| 10,000 | 1,000,000,000,000 |
| 35,000 | 42,875,000,000,000 |
| 65,000 | 274,625,000,000,000 |
| 90,000 | 729,000,000,000,000 |
