How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter the factored beam moment demand in kip-ft from your LRFD structural analysis.
  2. Select the bolt diameter in inches (3/4, 7/8, or 1 in are most common) and bolt grade (1=A325, 2=A490).
  3. Enter the number of bolt rows in the end plate connection (2 bolts per row).
