How to Use This Calculator
- Enter your score for each MCAT section (118–132 per section): Chem/Phys Foundations (CP/BS), Critical Analysis (CARS), Bio/Biochem Foundations (BB/FL), and Psych/Soc Foundations (PS/BB).
- The calculator sums all four sections into your Total MCAT Score (472–528 range).
- Review the Total Percentile and each section's individual percentile to see where you stand nationally.
- Check Competitiveness — scores of 514+ are generally competitive for MD programs; 508+ is average.
- Use Weakest Section to focus your remaining study time on the area with the most room for improvement.
- Compare your scores against target program averages published in the AAMC's Medical School Admissions Requirements (MSAR) database.
