How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter your score for each MCAT section (118–132 per section): Chem/Phys Foundations (CP/BS), Critical Analysis (CARS), Bio/Biochem Foundations (BB/FL), and Psych/Soc Foundations (PS/BB).
  2. The calculator sums all four sections into your Total MCAT Score (472–528 range).
  3. Review the Total Percentile and each section's individual percentile to see where you stand nationally.
  4. Check Competitiveness — scores of 514+ are generally competitive for MD programs; 508+ is average.
  5. Use Weakest Section to focus your remaining study time on the area with the most room for improvement.
  6. Compare your scores against target program averages published in the AAMC's Medical School Admissions Requirements (MSAR) database.
