How to Use This Calculator
- Enter the butterfat and protein test percentages from your milk quality reports.
- Enter the other solids percentage (lactose, minerals, etc.), typically 5.6-5.8%.
- Set the base or blend price per hundredweight (CWT) and your daily milk volume in CWT.
- Review the net price per CWT along with the butterfat, protein, and other solids component values and the premium or discount versus your base price.
- Check the daily gross revenue and the projected monthly and annual revenue for your herd.
