How to Use This Calculator
  1. Select your cement type: 1 for Type I (normal), 2 for Type III (high early strength), or 3 for Type II (moderate heat).
  2. Enter the average ambient temperature in °F during the curing period.
  3. Set the target strength as a percentage of the 28-day design strength (e.g., 75% for typical stripping).
  4. Read the Curing Days at 73°F to see the baseline time, then use Adjusted Curing Days for your actual temperature.
  5. Check the Hot/Cold Weather Risk flags — above 90°F or below 40°F requires special curing measures.
  6. Use the strength development chart to confirm what percentage of design strength is achieved at 7, 28, and 56 days.
