How to Use This Calculator

What each input means
- Aroma
- Fragrance/aroma score: dry fragrance and wet aroma of the coffee.
- Flavor
- Combined taste and aromatic impressions from the coffee in your mouth.
- Aftertaste
- Length and quality of positive flavor remaining after the coffee is swallowed.
- Acidity
- Brightness and liveliness. Higher scores for pleasant, crisp acidity.
- Body
- Tactile feel and weight of the coffee in the mouth.
- Balance
- How well flavor, acidity, body, and aftertaste complement each other.
- Uniformity
- Consistency across cups. 2 points per consistent cup (5 cups total).
- Clean Cup
- Absence of off-flavors. 2 points per clean cup (5 cups total).
- Sweetness
- Inherent sweetness. 2 points per cup with noticeable sweetness (5 cups total).
- Overall
- Your personal holistic impression of the coffee beyond individual attributes.
