  2. Select clay type (water-based, oil-based/plasteline, polymer, or air-dry).
  3. Set construction method (solid, hollow, or armature-supported) to adjust fill factor.
  4. Review clay weight in lbs and kg, clay volume in cubic inches, and number of 25-lb bags.
  5. Order 10-15% extra clay to account for waste, armature voids, and surface reworking.
