What each input means
- Your Age
- Your current age in years. Performance naturally declines with age; the calculator adjusts for this.
- Gender
- Biological sex for age-grading standards. Men and women are graded against their respective world-class standards.
- Race Distance
- The distance of the race you completed.
- Finish Time Hours
- Hours portion of your finish time.
- Finish Time Minutes
- Minutes portion of your finish time.
- Finish Time Seconds
- Seconds portion of your finish time.
What each result means
- Age-Graded Score
- Your performance as a percentage of the world-best for your age and gender. 60%+ is competitive, 80%+ is national level.
- Age Factor
- Multiplier reflecting age-related performance decline (1.0 = peak age).
- Equivalent Open-Age Time
- What your performance equals if you were at peak age.
