How to Use This Calculator
- Enter Daily Orders — the number of orders shipped per day at your facility.
- Set Picks per Order to the average number of line items in each order.
- Input Pick Rate per Hour (picks/hr): 60-80 for discrete picking, 100-150 for batch or zone picking.
- Set Pack Rate per Hour to how many orders your packers can box and label per hour.
- Enter Shift Hours — the length of each shift (productive time is modeled at 85% efficiency).
