Treatment Plan Calculator

This calculator layers three separate multipliers before it ever produces a session count. Recommended Sessions/Week comes straight from a two-axis lookup table keyed to Condition and Severity -- for example Stress/Tension at mild severity is 0.5 sessions per week, while Post-Surgery Rehab at severe severity is 3 (lines 14-21); this number never changes once Condition and Severity are fixed. Treatment Duration starts from a per-condition base (4 weeks for Stress/Tension up to 12 for Fibromyalgia), multiplied by a Severity factor -- 1.5x for severe, 1.2x for moderate, 1.0x for mild -- and rounded (lines 26-29). Duration of Condition then applies a second, separate multiplier on top of that result: over 12 months adds another 1.5x, over 6 months (but not exactly 6) adds 1.25x, and 6 months or under leaves it unchanged, because both comparisons use a strict "greater than" (line 32).

Total Sessions is Recommended Sessions/Week times the twice-adjusted Treatment Duration, rounded (line 35). Total Treatment Cost multiplies Total Sessions by a fixed per-session price keyed to Session Length -- $50 at 30 minutes up to $150 at 120 (line 36). Monthly Cost, by contrast, is calculated completely separately from Total Sessions and Total Treatment Cost: it's Recommended Sessions/Week times 4.33 weeks per month times the session price, so it never reflects Duration of Condition at all, even though that input does change your total number of sessions (line 40). Budget-Adjusted Frequency caps Recommended Sessions/Week down to whatever your Monthly Budget can actually afford at that session price -- it only ever lowers the recommended frequency, never raises it (lines 44-46).
