How to Use This Calculator

  2. Wall Length — Average length of each wall to be covered with drywall Accepts values from 1 ft to 200 ft (default: 12 ft).
  3. Wall Height — Floor-to-ceiling height of the walls — standard is 8 feet Accepts values from 1 ft to 20 ft (default: 8 ft).
  4. Number of Walls — Total number of walls to cover with drywall in this project Accepts values from 1 to 20 (default: 4).
  5. Doors — Number of standard doors to subtract from wall area (3×7 ft each) Accepts values from 0 to 10 (default: 1).
  6. Windows — Number of standard windows to subtract from wall area (3×5 ft each) Accepts values from 0 to 10 (default: 2).
  7. Sheet Size — Drywall sheet dimensions — larger sheets reduce seams but are heavier Choose from: 4×8 ft, 4×10 ft, 4×12 ft. default: 0.
