How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter Net Wall Area in sq ft — the surface receiving the EIFS system after openings are deducted.
  2. Set EPS Thickness in inches for your required R-value (EPS provides R-4 per inch).
  3. Enter Mesh Overlap at seams (minimum 2.5 in per code) and number of Base Coat Layers.
  4. Set Waste Allowance (%) for field cuts around openings and corners.
  5. Review EPS Boards, Mesh Rolls, Base Coat Pails, Finish Coat Pails, and Adhesive Tubes for material takeoff.
