How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter wax weight in ounces and fragrance percentage you want to use.
  2. Set max safe load percentage (check your wax supplier's specification).
  3. Review Fragrance Oil Needed (oz and grams), Total Batch Weight, and whether you are Over Max Load.
  4. Never exceed the max fragrance load — oversaturation causes seeping, poor throw, or fire hazards.

What each input means

Wax Weight
Weight of melted wax in ounces. Use the candle wax calculator if you need to convert from container volume.
Fragrance Percentage
Desired fragrance load as a percentage of wax weight. 6-10% is the sweet spot for most waxes.
Max Safe Load
Maximum fragrance load your wax can hold. Soy ~10%, Paraffin ~12%, Coconut ~8%. Exceeding causes sweating/seepage.
