How the result changes with Total room area (sq ft)

Total room area (sq ft): Total square footage of the storage room.
Storage type: 1 = Open shelving/screens (4 sq ft/obj); 2 = Compact racks (2); 3 = Cabinets/drawers (1); 4 = High-density automated (0.5).
Number of objects: Current or planned number of objects to store.
Aisle width (inches): Width of access aisles. ADA minimum is 36"; best practice is 42"-48" for carts.
Perimeter climate buffer (ft): Distance from exterior walls to keep storage away from temperature fluctuations.

Maximum object capacity: Maximum number of objects that fit in the available net storage area.
Current utilization (%): Percentage of storage capacity currently used.
Remaining capacity (objects): How many more objects can be accommodated.
Net storage area (sq ft): Usable storage area after aisles and climate buffer.
Sq ft per object: Space allocation per object for the selected storage type.
