How to Use This Calculator
- Rate each of the 7 PSQI component questions: subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, duration, efficiency, disturbances, medication use, and daytime dysfunction.
- Base your answers on your typical sleep over the past month.
- Review the Global PSQI Score: 0–5 = good sleeper, 6+ = poor sleeper.
- Check Worst Component to identify the primary driver of poor sleep for targeted intervention.
- Combine with PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores to assess whether sleep problems are driving mood and anxiety issues.
