How to Use This Calculator

Fill a bucket with pool water, mark the water level inside and outside, and leave both undisturbed for 24 hours.
Enter the pool water drop in inches — how much the pool level dropped during the test period.
Enter the bucket water drop in inches — how much water evaporated from the bucket over the same period.
Set the test duration in hours (24 hours is standard) and the pool surface area in square feet.
If Is Leaking shows 1, your pool is losing water beyond normal evaporation — check fittings, lights, and shell.
