How to Use This Calculator
- Enter the finished part diameter, draw depth, and corner radius for drawn (cup) parts.
- Set flange width if the part has a flange.

- Use the blank diameter to set up your blanking die and calculate material utilization in the strip.
- For complex draws, add 3-5% to blank size and trim after forming -- it's easier to trim than to add material.

- Inside diameter of the drawn cup or shell.
- Part Depth
- Depth of the drawn part from rim to bottom.
- Corner Radius
- Bottom corner radius of the drawn part.
- Flange Width
- Width of the rim flange (0 if no flange).

- Must be ≤ 2.0 for single draw; higher needs multiple draws.
