How to Use This Calculator
- Enter the heaviest load weight (lb) you need to lift in the Max load weight field.
- Set the load center (in) — the distance from the fork face to the load's center of gravity (standard is 24 in).
- Enter the maximum lift height (ft) required for your highest rack or storage level.
- Input your aisle width (ft) to determine the appropriate truck type (counterbalance, 3-wheel, or reach).
- Read the Recommended capacity (lb) to select the correct standard forklift class, and check Mast stages for the right mast configuration.
