How to Use This Calculator
- Enter Root Length (mm) and Root Diameter at mid-root (mm).
- Input Crown-to-Root Ratio and Remaining Coronal Structure (mm).
- Review Recommended Post Length (mm) — at least 4-5 mm of apical seal must remain.
- Check Maximum Post Diameter (mm) — must not exceed one-third of the root diameter at the narrowest point.
- Use Apical Seal Remaining (mm) to verify the post space preparation leaves adequate seal.
