What each input means
- Skier Height
- Your height in centimeters. This is the primary factor in pole length selection.
- Technique
- 0 = Classic (diagonal stride, shorter poles to armpit), 1 = Skate (V2/V1, longer poles to chin/mouth).
- Arm Length (optional)
- Measured from shoulder to wrist. Enter 0 to use standard height-based formula. Helps refine sizing for unusually long or short arms.
What each result means
- Recommended Pole Length
- Best pole length for your selected technique. Poles are sold in 5 cm increments — round to the nearest available size.
- Classic Pole Length
- Pole length for classic technique (diagonal stride). Should reach your armpit when standing.
- Skate Pole Length
- Pole length for skate technique. Should reach between your chin and mouth when standing.
- Sizing Note
- 1 = Standard fit, 2 = Consider sizing up (long arms), 3 = Consider sizing down (short arms).
