Massage Product Usage Calculator

Oil per Session multiplies a Session Type hourly rate from the lookup table by Session Length converted to hours -- minutes divided by sixty (lines 28-30). Massage Oil Price enters only when converting ounces to dollars for Product Cost per Session and Monthly Product Cost (lines 39-41, 53), so a higher oil price changes cost outputs without changing the underlying ounce quantity per session.

The engine assigns each Session Type a fixed oil-per-hour rate from a five-entry table: Swedish and Prenatal use 1.5 oz per hour, Deep Tissue 1.0 oz, Sports 1.2 oz, and Hot Stone only 0.5 oz because heated stones reduce glide-oil need (lines 12-18). At the same Session Length, Hot Stone therefore reports roughly one-third the Oil per Session of a Swedish session.

Monthly Laundry Loads counts two sheet sets per session, multiplies by Sessions per Day, Working Days per Week, and 4.33 weeks per month, then divides by twelve sheets per load and rounds up with Math.ceil (line 44). Session Type does not appear in that formula at all -- only booking volume drives laundry load count, not massage modality.

Cream per hour is zero for Swedish, Hot Stone, and Prenatal in the lookup table, but Deep Tissue and Sports each assign 0.5 oz of cream per hour for friction work (lines 20-26). Cream per session scales that hourly rate by Session Length the same way oil does (lines 28-30), and Monthly Product Cost adds oil and cream cost components together (line 41). Because cream usage is zero for Swedish, Hot Stone, and Prenatal sessions, Massage Cream Price is collected but has no effect on any output for those three Session Types.
