Trade Show Banner Calculator

Trade show banners come in a few standard formats that trade booth footprint for visual impact and cost, and this calculator sizes and prices each one differently based on Banner Type. A Retractable/Pull-up banner is a fixed 33 in wide, 7.5 ft tall stand-alone unit -- its price scales by how many units fit across your Booth Width (one roughly every 3 ft), not by the width itself. A Hanging banner is sized to your booth width, capped at 10 ft wide, and always 4 ft tall, priced at roughly $8 per square foot of fabric plus rigging hardware that scales with booth width.

A Backdrop banner spans your full Booth Width at 8 ft tall -- the largest and most expensive option per square foot at roughly $10, plus a frame cost that also scales with width. Banner Type is the dominant factor in Banner Height specifically, since each type locks in a fixed height (7.5 ft, 4 ft, or 8 ft) that has nothing to do with your booth's actual dimensions. Booth Depth (ft) is collected for your own planning reference but does not enter any of this calculator's sizing or cost formulas -- none of the three banner formats scale with how deep a booth is, only how wide it is.
