How to Use This Calculator

  3. Your Current Age — Your current age in years. Accepts values from 18 to 80 (default: 35).
  4. Target Retirement Age — The age at which you plan to retire. Use the slider for quick adjustments or type a precise value. Accepts values from 50 to 75 (default: 65).
  5. Life Expectancy — enter a numeric value. Accepts values from 70 to 110 (default: 90).
  6. Your Annual Income — Your total yearly income. Accepts values from $0 to $2,000,000 (default: $100,000).
  7. Current Traditional 401(k)/IRA — enter a dollar amount. Accepts values from $0 to $10,000,000 (default: $50,000).
  8. Current Roth IRA/401(k) — enter a dollar amount. Accepts values from $0 to $10,000,000 (default: $25,000).

  22. Safe Withdrawal Rate — Traditional rule is 4% Accepts values from 2 % to 6 % (default: 4 %).
  23. Spouse Age — enter a numeric value. Accepts values from 18 to 80 (default: 35).
  24. Spouse Annual Income — enter a dollar amount. Accepts values from $0 to $2,000,000 (default: $0).
  25. Spouse Traditional 401(k)/IRA — enter a dollar amount. Accepts values from $0 to $10,000,000 (default: $0).
  26. Spouse Roth IRA/401(k) — enter a dollar amount. Accepts values from $0 to $10,000,000 (default: $0).
  27. Spouse 401(k) Contribution — enter a percentage value. Accepts values from 0 % to 100 % (default: 0 %).
