How to Use This Calculator

Enter the Number of Canals and Final Apical Size (ISO).
Set Working Length (mm) and Infection Status (1 = vital, 2 = necrotic, 3 = chronic abscess).
Input NaOCl Concentration (%) — 2.5-5.25% is standard for necrotic cases.
Review Total NaOCl Volume (mL) and Total EDTA Volume (mL) needed for the protocol.
Follow the irrigation sequence: NaOCl throughout shaping, EDTA for smear layer removal, final NaOCl flush.

What each input means

Number of canals: Total number of root canals being treated.
Final apical size (ISO): Final apical preparation size (ISO).
Working length (mm): Established working length.
Infection status (1-3): 1 = vital/minimal, 2 = necrotic, 3 = retreatment/refractory.

NaOCl concentration (%): Recommended sodium hypochlorite concentration.
