How to Use This Calculator
- Enter TSH (mIU/L), Free T4 (ng/dL), and Free T3 (pg/mL) from the lab report.
- Review the interpretation: low TSH + high Free T4 = hyperthyroid; high TSH + low Free T4 = hypothyroid.
- Check for subclinical patterns: isolated TSH abnormality with normal free hormones.
- Consider Total T3 and T4 if binding protein abnormalities are suspected.
- Correlate with clinical symptoms and prior thyroid function tests for trend analysis.
