How to Use This Calculator
- Indicate Pulp exposure (0 = none, 1 = mechanical, 2 = carious) and whether Spontaneous or night pain is present (0/1).
- Note radiographic findings: Periapical radiolucency (0/1), Furcation involvement (0/1), and Internal resorption (0/1).
- Enter the percentage of physiological Root resorption already present and whether Hemostasis is achievable within 5 minutes (0 = No, 1 = Yes).
- Indicate Restorability (0 = non-restorable, 1 = adequate structure for restoration).
- Review the Treatment recommendation (1 = IPT, 2 = direct cap, 3 = vital pulpotomy, 4 = pulpectomy, 5 = extraction), Expected success rate (%), Follow-up interval (months), and Case complexity score.
