How to Use This Calculator
  1. Select the Tooth position (1–6): upper/lower primary molars or first permanent molars.
  2. Measure and enter the Mesiodistal width in mm using calipers on the prepared tooth — measure at the widest contact point.
  3. Enter the Proximal reduction per side (mm) performed during preparation and the Occlusal reduction (mm) for crown seating.
  4. Review the Recommended crown size (2–7), plus the Try size down and Try size up options to have adjacent sizes ready at chairside.
  5. Note the Nominal crown height (mm), Estimated crimping needed (mm), Total proximal reduction (mm), and Fit assessment (0 = likely tight, 1 = good fit, 2 = likely loose) to guide final seating.
