How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter model volume (cm³) from your resin slicer software and resin price per liter.
  2. Set support material percentage (typically 10–20% of model volume for complex parts).
  3. Enter wash and cure consumable costs (IPA, FEP film amortization, etc.).
  4. Review total cost per print, resin-only cost, total resin volume used, and prints per liter.

How the result changes with Model Volume

100$4.70120 ml
350$15.20420 ml
650$27.80780 ml
900$38.301,080 ml

What each input means

Model Volume
Volume of the model in milliliters (from slicer software).
Resin Price per Liter
Cost of one liter of resin. Standard resins are $25-40/L, specialty resins $50-100+/L.
Support Material
Estimated percentage of extra resin used for support structures. Typically 10-30%.
Wash & Cure Consumables
Per-print cost of IPA/cleaning solution, gloves, paper towels, and electricity for UV curing.

How this is calculated

Worked example, using the default values

  1. Identify Input Parameters
    4 parameters
    Model Volume = 15, Resin Price per Liter = 35, Support Material = 20, Wash & Cure Consumables = 0.5 = 4 input(s) provided
  2. Calculate Total Cost per Print
    Total Cost per Print
    1.13 = $1.13
  3. Calculate Total Resin Used
    Total Resin Used
    18 = 18
  4. Calculate Resin Cost Only
    Resin Cost Only
    0.63 = $0.63
  5. Calculate Support Volume
    Support Volume
    3 = 3
