- Indicate Current smoker (0/1) and Diabetes (0/1) — smoking adds ~40% to healing time and doubles nonunion risk.
- Select the Fixation method (0 = cast/splint, 1 = ORIF, 2 = IM nail, 3 = external fixation).

- Age in years. Children heal faster; elderly heal slower.
- Current smoker?
- 0 = No, 1 = Yes. Smoking increases healing time ~40% and doubles nonunion risk.
- Diabetes?
- 0 = No, 1 = Yes. Diabetes impairs bone healing by ~25%.
- Fixation method
- 0=Cast/splint, 1=ORIF (plates/screws), 2=IM nail, 3=External fixation
