How to Use This Calculator
  1. Enter the batter's Hits, Doubles, Triples, and Home Runs.
  2. Enter Walks, Hit By Pitch, At Bats, and Sacrifice Flies to complete the batting line.
  3. Review the calculated On-Base Percentage (OBP) and Slugging Percentage (SLG).
  4. Check the OPS (On-Base Plus Slugging) as the sum of OBP and SLG.
  5. Compare the OPS against MLB benchmarks: above .900 is excellent, .700-.800 is average.
  6. Review the estimated OPS+, which adjusts OPS against a 0.720 league-average baseline.
