How to Use This Calculator
- Start by filling in the input fields below. Results update instantly as you type, so you can experiment with different values to see how they affect the outcome.
- Original Frequency — The original frequency of the note or sound in Hz. A4 = 440 Hz. Accepts values from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (default: 440 Hz).
- Pitch Shift — Number of semitones to shift. Positive = up, negative = down. 12 semitones = 1 octave. Accepts values from -48 semitones to 48 semitones (default: 7 semitones).
- Original BPM — The original tempo of the track in beats per minute. Accepts values from 20 BPM to 300 BPM (default: 120 BPM).
- Link Pitch and Tempo — When enabled, tempo changes with pitch (like speeding up vinyl). When disabled, tempo stays constant (modern time-stretching). Toggle this on or off depending on whether it applies to your situation. default: 0.
