How to Use This Calculator
  1. Start by filling in the input fields below. Results update instantly as you type, so you can experiment with different values to see how they affect the outcome.
  2. Original Frequency — The original frequency of the note or sound in Hz. A4 = 440 Hz. Accepts values from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (default: 440 Hz).
  3. Pitch Shift — Number of semitones to shift. Positive = up, negative = down. 12 semitones = 1 octave. Accepts values from -48 semitones to 48 semitones (default: 7 semitones).
  4. Original BPM — The original tempo of the track in beats per minute. Accepts values from 20 BPM to 300 BPM (default: 120 BPM).
  5. Link Pitch and Tempo — When enabled, tempo changes with pitch (like speeding up vinyl). When disabled, tempo stays constant (modern time-stretching). Toggle this on or off depending on whether it applies to your situation. default: 0.
