How to Use This Calculator
- Start by filling in the input fields below. Results update instantly as you type, so you can experiment with different values to see how they affect the outcome.
- Bed Width — Width of your print bed (X-axis). Common sizes: 220mm (Ender 3), 250mm (Prusa), 350mm (Voron). Accepts values from 100 mm to 600 mm (default: 220 mm).
- Bed Depth — Depth of your print bed (Y-axis). Accepts values from 100 mm to 600 mm (default: 220 mm).
- Model Width — Width of the model's footprint touching the bed (X-axis). Accepts values from 5 mm to 600 mm (default: 80 mm).
- Model Depth — Depth of the model's footprint touching the bed (Y-axis). Accepts values from 5 mm to 600 mm (default: 80 mm).
- Material Type — Filament material being used. ABS and Nylon are most prone to warping. Choose from: PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU (Flexible), Nylon. default: 1.
- Bed Temperature — Your current bed temperature setting. Accepts values from 0 °C to 120 °C (default: 60 °C).
- Once all inputs are set, review your results in the Results panel. Here's what each output means:
- Warping Risk — shown as a numeric value. This is the primary result of this calculator.
- Bed Coverage — shown as a numeric value. This is the primary result of this calculator.
- Recommended Bed Temp — shown as a numeric value.
- Suggested Brim Width — shown as a numeric value.
- Fits on Bed — shown as a numeric value.
- Enclosure Recommended — shown as a numeric value.
