How to Use This Calculator
  1. Start by filling in the input fields below. Results update instantly as you type, so you can experiment with different values to see how they affect the outcome.
  2. Model Volume — Volume of the model in milliliters (from slicer software). Accepts values from 0.1 ml to 1,000 ml (default: 15 ml).
  3. Resin Price per Liter — Cost of one liter of resin. Standard resins are $25-40/L, specialty resins $50-100+/L. Accepts values from $10 to $300 (default: $35).
  4. Support Material — Estimated percentage of extra resin used for support structures. Typically 10-30%. Accepts values from 0 % to 100 % (default: 20 %).
  5. Wash & Cure Consumables — Per-print cost of IPA/cleaning solution, gloves, paper towels, and electricity for UV curing. Accepts values from $0 to $10 (default: $0.5).
