How to Use This Calculator
- Start by filling in the input fields below. Results update instantly as you type, so you can experiment with different values to see how they affect the outcome.
- Model Volume — Total outer volume of the model in cubic centimeters (from slicer or CAD). Accepts values from 1 cm³ to 10,000 cm³ (default: 100 cm³).
- Infill Percentage — Percentage of the interior filled with material. 20% is typical for prototypes, 50%+ for functional parts. Accepts values from 0 % to 100 % (default: 20 %).
- Infill Pattern — Infill geometry pattern. Gyroid offers best strength-to-weight ratio; honeycomb is material-efficient. Choose from: Grid (Rectilinear), Gyroid, Honeycomb. default: 1.
- Wall Thickness — Total wall (perimeter) thickness. Typically 2-3 wall lines at 0.4mm nozzle = 0.8-1.2mm. Accepts values from 0.4 mm to 4 mm (default: 1.2 mm).
