How to Use This Calculator
  1. Start by filling in the input fields below. Results update instantly as you type, so you can experiment with different values to see how they affect the outcome.
  2. Model Volume — Total outer volume of the model in cubic centimeters (from slicer or CAD). Accepts values from 1 cm³ to 10,000 cm³ (default: 100 cm³).
  3. Infill Percentage — Percentage of the interior filled with material. 20% is typical for prototypes, 50%+ for functional parts. Accepts values from 0 % to 100 % (default: 20 %).
  4. Infill Pattern — Infill geometry pattern. Gyroid offers best strength-to-weight ratio; honeycomb is material-efficient. Choose from: Grid (Rectilinear), Gyroid, Honeycomb. default: 1.
  5. Wall Thickness — Total wall (perimeter) thickness. Typically 2-3 wall lines at 0.4mm nozzle = 0.8-1.2mm. Accepts values from 0.4 mm to 4 mm (default: 1.2 mm).
  6. Once all inputs are set, review your results in the Results panel. Here's what each output means:
